Video Card Problem

Hello,
I've had a 9800 GT video card in my computer for about a year now. I started playing The Sims 3 and the computer shut off and would not come back on at all. It turned out that by replacing the video card with a 250 GTS, the problem was solved. Then again I started The Sims and the same thing happened. On both occasions by turning the power supply off and on, the computer would try to start but failed. Any help would be appreciated.

HP Media Center PC
650 Watt Antec PSU (Earthwatts)
ASUS MOBO
BFG 250 GTS 1 GB

Hello. Have you tried to install the game one more time? It can resolve your problem.

The GTS 250 is blown out too......................

maybe is the sims the problem... try the game on an other pc
