Hello,i,m connect to the internet. have firefox and windows IE as browsers on my pc which is a compaq presario i have vista home premium i,m connected to yhe internet  yet the browsers will not open

hi,

make sure that you are not in the Work Offline mode.

go to internet options and check the settings.

or renew the ip address:

start > run > type cmd and press ok.

then type ipconfig /renew and hit enter.

this shold fix the problem.
