Screen goes to black

Hello,

I just restored my Dell Dimension 3000 Desktop to its factory settings. Now it wont boot up past the windows screen. It reinstalled Windows XP just fine, but it still won't go past the welcome screen. It just goes black. Any thoughts?

Dear Sir,

This is a problem which occured in your hard drive,

I will advise you to change to another hard drive
