xp sp2 din't install in compaq v6000Closed

Hello,
I have compaq presario v6000 model laptop, recently buy new hard disk drive of 120 GB but Iam not able to install winxp sp2. When I try to install the message arrive hard drive not found check all connections. but windows 7 is easily intalled.

go to bios settings on boot

once in bios setting disable sata or native mode

Than  save and exit

boot from xp installation cd

In order to install Xp you have to go into setup and disable sata native translation, then xp can find the drive.
