another personal antivirus Closed

Question

Hello,
iam / were not what you can call computer litterate we can just about use it to do what we want. 
but we too have an personal anti virus appeared on our pc which we cannot get rid of.
no matter what we do we cannot find it in the add remove programs to get rid of it.
can anyone give us a clue as to how to do it without the jargon.
thanks for anyones help.

Supposedly Personal Antivirus themselves tell you to go to C:/Program Files/Personal Antivirus/Uninstall.lnk which should uninstall it for you.

I'm not sure if this actually works though, but it has been suggested as a solution.

If this doesn't work, try running MBAM from malwarebytes.com

If you are still having troubles then i can recommend http://www.fixedlikemagic.com as an excellent infection removal service provider.
