when downloading a movie,how do i get the subtitles to work when putting it on to dvd.

hi there,
You should have Direct VobSub to get subtitles.
You should install Codecs like K-Lite Codec which includes VobSub.
use ink below and download codecs:
https://ccm.net/downloads/tools/4569-k-lite-codec-pack-full/
