Wireless keyboard problems

Hello,

i have a dell windows XP and am trying to use an HP wireless keyboard and mouse and it wont work. just wondering if i can use them and if i can what do you think the problem is.

first make sure you got new batteries in them to eliminate that as a possiblity.. Then .. make sure you are in range of your device.. Old wireless doesn't have very far of range.. Like maybe 3 feet or so.. Bluetooth is like 10.. After that check your drivers.
