Network traffick with remote desktop

Hello,
Does it affect the network to run remote assistance,if it does what are the probabilities and what would the effect of that on the entire network or LAN?

Yes it does affect your network when you do remote desktop, the computer you will be using to view the other desktop will ram a lot.

But, let take a network with 1000 Computers and 10 of those are involved in a remote desktop,The network speed is 100 MB/s.Say all PC's on the network are running,downloads etc.What can be the signifficant effect of this or it only affects INTRANET? not INTERNET?
