Here is the solution if you want to completely format the disk:
1. turn on the computer and go to BIOS
2. You need to set the hard disk option to IDE
3. Boot computer from windows xp install CD
4. When you get to the point where you have to choose the partition, delete partition on which vista is installed, then create new one, NTFS (quick format)
5. complete the installation
6. enjoy your xp :)
