Won't restart

Hello,
When I restore my factory settings the system reboots, and then does nothing. No matter what I do I can't get it to re-start. Any ideas on how to solve this problem. I can start up in safe mode, not in normal mode. All I get is please wait on the screen that never ends

hi there,

boot from windows installation cd and

make a windows repair

or in safe mode restore the pc to an earlier time all worked good
