H drive to c drive

Hello,
i had to restore my windows xp desk top the other day...when i did everything is fine except i noticed that everything is in a h drive...which only has 200 mb and less in free space and i noticed that my c drive has over 1.6 gb of free space. how do i change h drive to c drive?
please help if you can

was this a factory restore?
or was it a restore from a backup.?

when you say every thing is in your h drive do you mean this is your boot drive (partition) does it have all the directories that would normally be on a C drive.?

what computer are we talking about? make/model because those aren't very big drives for modern computer.

how was the restore carried out, what method.?
