Hello,
I have an Acer 5102WLMI laptop and the BIOS in it is not recognizing anything (not the HD nor the CD Drive)
There is nothing listed at all in the BIOS. I am thinking it is n\the motherboard because when I boot the computer up, I get a black screen with a bunch of beeping. I had already changed out the hard drive and I get the same thing. There are so many beeps and they are so fast that I am unable to count them. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

check your memory,

When I boot my computer up, I can hit esc and it shows that my memory ram is OK, but, I only have 1) 2GB memory. Do you think that might be the problem? It originally had 1GB (512x2) in it. How would I be able to test it without physically getting into the computer? Thanks for your input.
