Cannot install quicktime

Hello, I recently had my cousin do a disk clean-up and defrag on my computer and in the process I accidently removed quicktime but still have itunes so my cousin just told me to download quicktime again and I have tried REPEATEDLY and it finishes downloading but nothing shows up I've tried looking it up on my computer search but no success.... what do I need to do to get this to work please help.

When you finish download go in the containing folder and search for it, if there no exe then the problem is coming from the server of apple.

i tried searching quicktimeinstaller.exe and there was no luck ... should i erase the itunes that i still have up and then try it again?
