MY pendrive cannot be formatted

Hello,

if i select the format option for my pendrive - a message is displayed tat INSERT A DISK IN THE DEVICE... when i checked the properties of the same....
used space 0 bytes, free space 0 bytes.... actual volume is 2gb....
wil i be able to regain my devce...........???? or is it no more usable.......????
pls help me....
lookin forward for best results

hi there,

go to disk management

right click on the device and change the drive letter

to another letter not assign to any drive on the computer

then right click on the drive and format it
