msn download error Closed

Question

Hello,
msn will not let me sign in until i have downloaded the newer version and when i say ok it downloads the comes up with an error message saying the ordinal 266 could not be located in the dynamic link libary msi dll. what should i do?????

hello Sir,

Just uninstall Windows Live Messenger, 

Go to Control Panel, Add&Remove Programs, 

Select Windows Live Messenger and then uninstall it

Install it afterwards

It didnt work..i went through the same process as mentioned but it is useless...
same error again..
