Hello ,
I am dyna I have a hp530 laptop , when i bought it i got vista home basic for free even if i am not use with this operating system there are some interesting features I just started to get online on internet with my laptop for my work research.

My laptop actual antivirus is Avg i would like to remove it .. after having uninstalling the software and setup another antivirus ( kaspersky ).

I am having a windows error message saying that i must remove Avg - even if it has already been completly uninstalled.

what is happening ?

You computer has been configurated with AVG

And the version of vista you are using comes with an integrated Avg , so you must delete it direcly from windows components files it should work.

Once deleted and uninstalled you will be able to set up another antivirus.

Please make sure to reboot your computer before installing.
