To answer your question: Avast isn't bad, but not perfect at al, many tests proved it.l. The favorite anti virus at the moment is Antivir OR http://ccm.net/telecharger/telecharger 64 avg anti virus free [AVG 8].
So chose, one of them instead of Avast.
