Micro SD Card Trouble

Hello to Who Ever is Reading this,
My Micro SD Card isn't working at all for whatever reason. I tried using an adapter to change some stuff on my computer, and then I tried it in my DS but neither worked? On the computer it just said" Please insert a disk into drive G:."
Thanks for the help I expect to get!

hi there,

insert the card in the computer by a reader

go to disk management right click on the drive and assign another letter to it

save and remove then replug it
