Format problems

Hello,
Plz wen i fix any memory card in ma phone it says format wen i format the phone goes off n on any time i make an attempt 2 enter into the memory card it goes of it worries me allot so plz help me i have even made me bought about 6 memory cards both 2gig n 1gig
