CD-RW Not rewritable!!

Hello,
Have succcessfully downloaded personal video from Sony Digital camera to my lap top which runs Vista. After inserting a brand new Verbatim CD-RW disc (tried several in case one was faulty in some way) system tells me that the disc is not a rewritable disc and asks me to insert a rewritable one!

Any one got any ideas as to why and how to fix??

does your writer support cd-rw?

you can try nero 9

download it from here:
