Asus power supply

Hello,

Can you advise me? I have an Asus X59GL laptop (Vista) that required a restore to start. The adaptor light is on, but not the light on the laptop. The battery message is holding at '99% available plugged in, not charging'. Will the laptop continue working using the adaptor? Should I be doing something?

you need no additional thing to do

just carry forward and yes it will use this power
