How to make movies in avi?Closed

Hello,

I use a Nikon Coolpix S9 in my class. When I take films it autimatically makes them in .mov files. Is it possible to make/save them in another format that will work straightaway in windows media player and powerpoint because at the moment I have to convert each file which is a bit of a pain and time consuming. 

P.S. As you can see I don't really know what I am talking about with cameras and technology, so this might be a silly question!!

Dear Sir,

You will need a specific tool for converting files from the .mov format to .avi format. One of the suggestion is 

Rad Video Tools. This will easily allow you to change the format. You will just have to select the file and click on 

Convert and select the required format. Hope that this information has been helpful for solving your problem.
