Reading cam tapes on pcs

Hello,

is there any device whereby i can read tapes on pcs and from there put the movies on dvds instead of connecting my cam to my pc and doing the usual steps? its just because i recently formatted my pc and i have lost the pc suite for my cam any clues?

hi there,

yes of course you can do that there are tape readers specially for that and you can access the tapes rom that device onvert it into dvd video files and you are done
