D and F keys not working

Hello,
my dell inspiron 6400 has aquired a problem the D and F keys have stopped working has anybody got any ideas what this could be ???????

Dear Sir,

This is simply a hardware problem. Please remove the keys and place them back.

Consider removing any dust below them. If the problem persists, you will have to

send your laptop to repair or connect another USB keyboard to it.
