am trying setup up a wireless network which i can provide to about 1000 people.i need advice about the equipments to use and how much it could cost.

you will need wireless routers
and also repeaters to amplify the signals
quantity depends on distance for the users
from the access point to their pc
and for the price contact local computer supplier
