Duplication of Account

Hello,

I already had an account on facebook but had issues logging in a couple of days ago. I then thought I could re-create my account and so created another account using the same email address which facebook accepted. So now, I have 2 facebook accounts and still cannot log into my existing account. I can only log into the new account created.

Plse how to I access the old account since the email addresses are the same?
