Hello,
I've had problems with my XP os so i deceided to buy a new disc and re-install it.

Got myself a new XP disc. I put the disc in and started the re-install.

It erased the old copy of Windows and started to install the new copy.

The blue screen came up and off it went.

When it gets to the Installing Windows bit......thats when the problems start. The installation time doesn't go down, it's stuck at 39mins.
I get a Fatal Error page come up which tells me that one of the Windows components couldn't be installed.

Data Error ( cyclic redundancy check )

I then have to close it down but when i restart it, i go into the blue setup page again, Fatal Error message, close it down etc etc.

How do i get out of this loop and get into DOS so i can do a proper format ?

Help !!!!!!
