Hello,
I just bought and built a new desktop pc. I connected it with the new LG Flatron monitor I got but as soon as I switch it on the monitor goes into power saving mode. I know it's connected since it doesn't show the 'check signal' message and the monitor works fine with my old pc. I also read that sometimes that happens on old pcs because of the motherboard battery running out, but this is a brand new pc! What could be the problem?

hi there,
the graphic card usually causes this error
as its new and must have warranty
i will then advise you to contact the reseller and get it repaired
do not open the cpu as this will break the seal
and it will be not valid
Thanks
