Skype on Linux

Hello,
I just change from window to Linux Suse 11.2 and don't know how to get skye on my computer. I try to download skye. I get a message that say.
download this File
/tmp/skye-2.1.0.47-syse.i586-.rpm 18.5 MB- skype.com
which is a: RPM package from: http://download.skype.com

then I get this is the message.
The action could not be completed
The request failed.
Failed to get supported types for the backend: The name org.freedesktop.PackageKit was not provided by any service files.

Can anyone help me? PLEASE HELP. What do I do now to get skype?
