Pc very slow and annoying

Hello,

im thinking about speeding up my computer since it is becoming extremely slow although i have cleaned all the temporary files did a disk defragmenting and also upgraded from 256mb ram to 512mb ram and still nothing. i was also thinking about formatting the pc completely but could not as there are many important files on the hard drive..

any clues what should i do please?

hi there,

pc slow down problems are usually caused due to virus attacks and/or unwanted services and processes running behind ...

for this if you have not installed any anti-virus program please install it before ...
i recommend you to install avg as it is free and very light also using low system memory..
download link: https://www.avg.com/fr-fr/free-antivirus-download

besides this, please stop all the unwanted services and startup processes
to do this go on run command and type msconfig

i hope this will solve your most of the problem by speeding up your system

Hi There
Before you go any further back up these important files
You are asking for trouble if you do not do this.
What would happen if your hard drive failed you would loose them anyway.
So first thing first back them up
