Please someone help

Hello, i jsu recieved a basic laptop for christmas model vgn-nr430e made by sony. I turned it off earlier because it hadnt been charged i plugged it up but the charge light is not on and when i hit the power button the power light comes on but it dosent come on and the low battery light is orange but when i plugg it up aagain the battery light goes off still it does not come on!! so in all when its plugged in and you hit power the power light is on and the battery light is off yet its not on!! when you un plugg the battery light comes on and power light still on what is wrong!!

You might try a "hard restart". You disconnect the power adapter and take out the battery. You then depress the "on" button for 30 seconds. You then connect the battery and the power adapter and try to turn it on again. This sometimes works to solve this type of problem.
