Problems with 1gb ram

Hello,
yesterday i updraged my ram from 512mb to 1gb and this morning when i switch it on it seems as if only the fan in the psu is running and nothing else the fan on the processor isnt running as well. i have tried almost everything removing the new one and putting again the older one but still will not work.

any help would be the most welcomed

just try to see if all the led cables are well connected and also try to remove the two ram and see if you hear a beep sound if this is the case then yhe motherboard is good and you fdont have to worry that much
