MP3 FILES NOT SHOWING

Hello,

I have many music files on my MP3; however when i had plug the MP3 into my computer none of the files showed up- it appeared empty. I checked the properties, which showed that most of the MP3 memory has been used up. I took my MP3 out and tried to play the music but then it showed that there were no files! I plugged the MP3 in again and still not files were showing up and the memory is almost full!

HELP ME PLEASE!!!

I don't see any alternative than to format your mp3, hoping you have stored the music on your computer before.
