IPhone + Webmessenger?

Hey;

Just got an iPhone and connected it to Wifi etc. I thought to access www.webmessenger.msn.com so that you could chat for a far lower rate on another network rather then sms...cheap trick! haha. Anyways. I was wondering if I was able to do that. It keeps telling me that "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding." Even though it is still connected. Can anyone help me out? Or is Apple simply smart and blocked it?
