WD 500 BG no longer works

Hello,
I have a WD 500 GB Essential I got from Best Buy back in November 2009. I loaded a lot of music to it ( recording all of my albums (400) to digital) and it has worked good until last week. Now, the LED blinks on the WD 500 GB Essential, but any PC will not reconize it. I tried it on 4 different laptops. No pop-up and does not show up in device manager. Is there anything I can do for this, or do I need to return it to Best Buy?
