VGA card for mercury mother borad Closed

Hello,
VGA  port in my mercury mother board in broken due to wrong removal. I bought a new VGA card and installed in the PCI slot. But I'm not getting the display. Please help me solve the problem.

Hi there,

Have you tested it before purchase or on other system board to know if its not faulty?Its also possible that you damaged the port on the mother board,please give more information and feedback.

I have not tested in the shop before purchase. But I have fixed in the other system and checked. Some of my collogues were told me that I have to reinstall the OS. is that true.

is your card 1mb pci card, then it wont work in xp
