Back slash key not woking

Hello,

when i press the back slash key, the '#' sign is what appears on the monitor.

There`s a temp quick fix which will work on command as well , Simply find a backslash \ on the web copy & paste it. Hopes this helps

Please give more information,is it a laptop or desktop pc?
