How to count tickets by month

Hello,

An excel file containts Ticket Id and Date for last four years.

How can I draw a graph showing tickets by month for last years?

e.g. Jan. 2006- 200
Feb 2006- 500

hi! go to the filter in the top right hand corner, and select the custom filter for the month you require then copy all the data in to anothersheet and use the bar chart.
