Hello,

I have an invoice with a date format "TODAY". If I create an invoice today, it assigns today's date. If I open the invoice tomorrow, it assigns tomorrow's date to it. I need it to stay as the original date created. How do I fix my invoice to do that?

Thanks

Hello,

To insert the current date in a selected cell : just press the Ctrl key and the ; key at the same time.

Best regards

as soon as today's date is entered
edit-copy todays date on itself with edit-pastespecial -values-ok

you can prepare(or create) a macro for this

Thank you so much. This worked great. You are a lifesaver. I tried researching this in Excel Help and could not figure it out.
