Memory card

Hello,
i just purchased a 2gb micro sd memory card to transfer pictures from my cell phone to my laptop. the computer does not seem to recognize the memory card. do i need to install a driver or activate a setting on the computer in order for it recognize the memory card. please advise. thank you

Dear Sir,

Please check whether the problem is not coming from the card reader's driver in the device manager.
