Hello,
i need to format a hard disk where previously windows vista was to be installed but the installation never finished and now i want to put windows xp on it but i cant do that. i cannot format it if anyone has an idea that would really help me in formatting the hard drive.

1) is ur cd bootbl
2) is ur cdrom is working
3) if ur problem is window formating thn try to formate with another cd may b ur cd is not working
4) try to format with win 98
5) if not able to format thn attach this hdd in anothe pc and boot from cdrom thn when it ask for installatin thn 1st delete all partition an thn formate
6) it will work
if not tell me
