I have just purchsed a new camera, Panasonic Lumix, and the software that came with it on CD will not open when I double click on it .. Also it appears to be only half lit up in windows explorer as if it's not avaiable, it has attributes HA .. The disk does not automatically start either as it should ... When I double click on it I get the message "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may need appropriate permission to access the item"
My PC is a desktop with Windows XP
I also have a laptop with Vista and the same happens on it ...
i will advise you to use another disc, or to download the software or drivers on the internet. May be the disc is defected or wasn't burnt successfully.
Hi, thanks for your reply ... The Panasonic site does not have that software for download, only the update which dosen't work unless you have the original program .. Cheers Jim
