Automatic turning off of pc

Hello,
my pc gets turned off without any specified time interval.I have changed my ram but of no use.My comp is an assembled one.It is hardly 7 months old .My comp. has dual core processor,windows xp,2 gb RAM,320 GB hdd etc .any further details might be provided by me.
sir please help me out as soon as possible.

Hi,

Is your pc fan working or yes, how long does it turn off? and it turn off or restarted? it can be ur power supply shutting it down due to hotness.

Its being turned off when doing what?In what lapse of time?Please give more information.
