A virus i cant find a cure for

Hello,
i somehow got the same virus everyone is getting from windows xp....and now i cant even reach my desktop on my computer....please someone help me ...i have the re-install disk but i cant figure out why its not workin...please anyone...?¿?¿?¿?

We have helped a lot of people with all kinds of viruses, worms, etc and we would be most happy to help you. However, please, could be more specific about the virus that everyone is getting?
