Using switch

Hello,
pls tell me how to share the inter(BSNL BROADBAND) using switch.some say we need to make 1 pc as a host.is it right.please explian clearly..

hi..
from bsnl line u must connect to switch directly , then u can connect pc's as per switch ports..
u assign one pc as a server others clients.
