Realtek Hi Def Speakers - L does not work

Hello,
I have two speakers installed with Windows VISTA. At one time there was sound from the L speaker but not for the past few weeks. The R works fine. Ideas?

Dear Sir,

Please indicate which application you are using for the balance for the left and right speakers might need to be adjusted. Still, I will advise you to check in the device manager whether the sound drivers doesn't need to be updated for fixing up the trouble.
