Install the windows in another specific drive. By allocting space as a drive for intalling windows.
intalling windows:
1. Insert windows cd before booting press enter and then select "setup windows now" and then press f8 and select the drive do you want to install and press enter. And select ntfs format and press enter. Then the drive formats and then copies the files to drive and then restarts and then intalls windows. After then it ask some questions. After this, then the windows xp is displayed.

It sounds like you want to "dual boot" Vista and XP. follow this link
