Sound card.

i formated the computer to my own xp cd.

I tried to get the computer to install the sound card for a week now..
it won't install. i tried everything that was up on internet.

I went to www.gateway.com

and typed in my serial number and tried the sound card from it's own web site
and when it restarts it start intalling and suddenly it says it can't detect the sound card
it's xp and from gateway.

i tried with UAA<<from hp

I really need help..
if any of u know the answer please................................
