How to format my pen drive kingsto 2gb

Hello,
I have 2 gb pen drive when i open it windows give message disk is not formated and when i formate it
windows gives message "Windows unable to complete the formate"
help me

Hi there,

Before formatting change th file system to ntfs ,format and reformat next time with Fat .
