Flash buttons

I have written my own website some time ago, but at present when I use IE8 using the navigate flash buttons does not send me to any other page and nothing happens, but when I use Firefox 3.6.3, I can navigate round my site easily. Has anybody any ideas what is causing this to happen

Thanks for that, I will read that and maybe redesign my buttons. Still doesn't explain why they work in Firefox but not IE8.

It might be because of the flash application version of some compatibility reasons.
